Profiled Heaters Design Process

Lead times of profiled heaters are extended due to the series of evaluation steps and collaborative design interaction with customers. Customers are to supply the mounting components for All Flex to replicate the end-state in the All Flex lab in order for design modification to be done properly. Profiled heater projects are quoted on a project-by-project basis.

Precision Designed Thermal Patterns

For heater applications that require highly uniform thermal dissipation, All Flex can design your heater to even out the thermal differences in the assembly after the heater is mounted onto your heat sink/thermal mass. This additional design and analysis work is an extra charge but provides a precisely designed customized heat element within one heater pattern.

Uniform Thermal Pattern

Even if the heat element pattern is designed uniformly, the heat dissipation in the finished assembly can change depending upon many factors, including mass variance, airflow, attachment uniformity, and nearby heat generating devices, etc. Traditionally designed flexible heaters don't compensate for these other variables in the system.

All Flex offers precision profiling of the heater design, adjusting the thermal loss in the overall system - so that the end result is even thermal distribution.
